From time to time, IB schools ask us to help share their teaching opportunities with our network of experienced IB educators. While we are not a recruitment agency, we are happy to promote these vacancies as a free service to the IB community.

IB Mathematics / Maths Teacher – High School

Location: Barra da Tijuca – Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil

About the Position
Escola Eleva, part of the Inspired group, is looking for an IB Mathematics / Maths Teacher to work with High School students. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering Mathematics lessons aligned with the IB curriculum, the Brazilian BNCC curriculum, and the teaching materials adopted by the school.
The role involves collaborating with other teachers and academic leaders, preparing assessments, monitoring student progress, using active learning methodologies and educational technologies, and participating in pedagogical meetings and school events.
Main Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics Education or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching High School students
- Fluent English to teach classes in English
- Strong lesson planning and classroom management skills
- Collaborative profile and commitment to student development
IB History Teacher – High School
School: Escola Eleva

Location: Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil
Type: On-site | Full-time (CLT)
About the Position
Escola Americana de Vitória is seeking a qualified English teacher for the Middle and High School years. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, contribute to curriculum development, participate in school projects and events, and work collaboratively with the academic team.
Main Requirements
- Degree in English Language or related teaching qualification
- At least 1 year of teaching experience
- Fluent English (minimum C1 level)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet tools
Mathematics Teacher – High School
School: Escola Americana de Vitória
Location: Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil
Type: On-site | Full-time (CLT)
About the Position
Escola Americana de Vitória is seeking a qualified Mathematics teacher to teach High School students in English. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, collaborate with the academic team, and contribute to curriculum development.
Main Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics or related teaching qualification
- Previous High School teaching experience
- Fluent English (minimum C1 level)
- Strong planning and communication skills
