IB English Educator | IB Examiner and Workshop Leader
Carla teaches IB English Language and Literature. She holds an MA in ELT and Applied Linguistics from the University of London and has over twenty years of teaching experience, following graduation from a leading teacher training college in Argentina.
She has taught IGCSE, A Level, and IB English (Language A & B). She is also a former Cambridge ESOL external examiner and current IB examiner.
She assesses IOs and written papers, using her examining experience to help students understand IB criteria and improve their performance.

Carolina – Costa Rica
IB Spanish Educator | DP Coordinator | IB Examiner
Carolina teaches IB Spanish and has over eight years of experience in the IB continuum. She currently serves as IB Diploma Programme Coordinator and IB Continuum Coordinator at a private IB Continuum school in Costa Rica.
She teaches MYP Spanish Language Acquisition and DP Español A: Literatura, and has extensive experience supporting students with the Individual Oral, Paper 1, Paper 2, Internal Assessments, and Extended Essays in Language A.
Carolina is also a DP Spanish Language and Literature examiner and has completed multiple IB professional development workshops. Her leadership and examining experience help students develop strong analytical, writing, and exam skills while gaining a deeper understanding of IB assessment criteria.

IB Mathematics Educator | IB Examiner and Academic Leader
Fernando is an experienced IB Mathematics educator with more than 25 years of teaching experience across Honduras, Costa Rica, the United States, and Brazil. He currently serves as Associate Division Head and Mathematics Department Coordinator at Avenues São Paulo.
He has taught IB Mathematics for over a decade, including Mathematics: Applications & Interpretation SL and Mathematics Studies SL, and has been an IB examiner for 10 years, assessing both Paper 2 and Internal Assessments. Fernando is particularly skilled at helping students who struggle with mathematics build confidence, understanding, and exam success.

IB Physics Educator | Astrophysics Specialist
Guilherme is an IB Physics educator with over five years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Astrophysics. He teaches Physics SL and is also well qualified to support students studying Physics HL.
He helps students strengthen their understanding of complex physics concepts while developing the analytical and problem-solving skills required for success in the IB Diploma Programme. He has completed IB Category 1 professional development training and is committed to inquiry-based, student-centered learning.

Gustavo is an experienced IB educator specializing in Language A: Language and Literature HL and Literature HL. He supports students in literary analysis, academic writing, Individual Orals, Extended Essays, and exam preparation.
He serves as a CAS Coordinator and is an IB examiner for Literature HL, assessing both Paper 2 and the Individual Oral. In addition, he has led IB workshops in Spanish A: Literature, CAS, and Approaches to Teaching and Learning.
Gustavo holds a Master’s degree in Language and Literature and brings additional expertise in journalism, debate, public speaking, and academic communication.

IB Biology Educator | DP Biology Specialist
Ivonne is an experienced IB Biology educator with more than 12 years of experience teaching IB Biology. She has taught at leading international schools in Ecuador and currently teaches at The British School in Quito.
She has completed IB Category 1 and 2 professional development training and is dedicated to helping students develop a strong understanding of biological concepts, scientific inquiry, and exam techniques. Her students have consistently achieved excellent results, with a strong record of success in IB Biology examinations.

Matheus is an IB Mathematics educator teaching DP Mathematics Applications & Interpretation (SL) and Analysis & Approaches (HL) at the American School of Brasília. He also teaches MYP Mathematics and has previous experience as Head of the Mathematics Department at the Canadian School of Brasília.
He supports students in exam preparation, Internal Assessments, and mathematical reasoning across both the MYP and Diploma Programme.

Meghana is an experienced IB educator with over 13 years of experience teaching IB Diploma Programme Biology at both SL and HL levels. She is an official IB Biology examiner for Paper 2 and Internal Assessments and has extensive experience supporting students with Extended Essays, Internal Assessments, and examination preparation.
In addition to Biology, she has tutored students for DP Mathematics AA-SL, Environmental Systems & Societies (ESS)-SL, and Chemistry-SL. She previously served as Assistant IBDP Coordinator for 10 years and holds the IB Advanced Certificate in Teaching and Learning Research from the University of Bath.

Mike is an experienced IB educator and school leader with extensive experience as an IBDP Coordinator, TOK Coordinator, and Extended Essay Coordinator. He supports students and schools in Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essays, English Language and Literature, English B, and IB Diploma Programme success.
He is an IB examiner and team leader for DP English Language and Literature and has served as an IB Workshop Leader in Language and Literature, TOK, and DP Coordination.

In addition to classroom teaching, she has served as an Extended Essay Coordinator and Supervisor, Head of the English Department, and curriculum developer. Yanina is an experienced IB educator with over 5 years of teaching experience at Mount Albert Grammar School. She previously taught IB English Language and Literature and supports students in developing strong analytical writing, textual interpretation, and exam techniques for success in the Diploma Programme.
She works as an IB examiner for English Language and Literature and is also an Assessment Content Developer for the IB Spanish Language and Literature exam.
